SHANGHAI, Dec. 9 (SMM) – Base metal prices on the SHFE are expected to diverge on Friday, Shanghai Metals Market foresees.
“The euro fell back after ECB’s decision to extend the QE program, and the dollar got a boost as a result, weighing down base metals, and on Friday, Shanghai prices are expected to diverge,” SMM says.
Copper: 46,500-47,500 yuan per tonne
Aluminum: 13,000-13,250 yuan per tonne
Lead: 20,000-21,000 yuan per tonne
Zinc: 22,400-23,000 yuan per tonne
Tin: 142,500-145,500 yuan per tonne
Nickel: 92,000-94,500 yuan per tonne
Note: Prices all above are for most-actively traded contract on the SHFE.
